I have over 13 years experience as a Professional Celebrant. My experience is such that I have conducted funerals in Crematorium Chapels, Theatres, at the Graveside and in Family Homes.
When I meet a family I normally spend between 2 and 3 hours with them during which time I get to know their loved one, this enables me to write a tribute of life for them. I write the tribute with the family, this ensures that they have what they want for me to present at the funeral, there are no surprises for them on the day and no room for mistakes.
The tribute is agreed with the family before I leave them. Having got to know about the life of the deceased I am then able to select and recommend suitable reading and poems which reflect the life of their loved one.
The Association of Independent Celebrants, (AOIC) is a forward-thinking Association that places the individual at the heart of its innovative ceremonies. Whether your Celebration is happy or sad, our members
will design a tailor-made service suited to the occasion.
We also provide our membership with the support and resources they require
to become the most professional Celebrants in the UK.
All our members are automatically covered by our Comprehensive Insurance package which includes both Public Liability and Professional Indemnity.
Do not consider appointing a Celebrant who has not got this level of insurance.
